Apeejay School, Saket is situated on the Gurudwara Road of J-Block in Saket, New Delhi, in the midst of a posh and lush green residential area. The foundation stone of the school was laid by Dr. Stya Paul, Chairman, Apeejay Education Society, on March 19, 1988. The school became functional in the same year. It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. Every class, from Pre-School to the Senior Secondary level, has two sections. Science and Commerce streams are offered at the Senior Secondary level. Keeping in tandem with our energized motto” Soaring High Is My Nature”, we work towards scaling new invigorating heights by focusing on diverse areas in the realm of education and personality development. We believe in unraveling every child’s potential by providing a holistic environment to discover his/her creativity, ability and talent. Formal Exams & Evaluation Criteria | Pre Primary :
No formal tests are held. Grading is done on the basis of a continuous comprehensive assessment. Teachers continuously assess and monitor student learning.
primary (class I to IV):
A system of continuous comprehensive evaluation is followed. Students are graded regularly and evaluation is based on child's participation and performance in class activities, homework, project work, group work, worksheets, class assessment, class response, reading and communicative skills, individual and group behaviour. Assessment of competencies in languages, Sciences and Mathematics is undertaken on a regular basis.
Middle school(class V to VIII) :
Two terms with two examinations- one in September and the other in Feb / March
Two unit tests per term for continuous assessment
